SquidPro downrigger rudders are made of high quality stainless steel with fish attracting finishes.Rudder weighs 5.5 oz and measures about 11 3/4 x 4 7/8 inches. The downrigger ball attaches to the bottom of the rudder and the release clip attaches to the long end of the rudder. The rudder keeps the balls tracking straight while also providing fish-attracting power to bring more fish to your bait or lures behind the clip from greater distances.
The rudder can also be used for halibut fishing. Just put your lead on the bottom of the rudder, attach mainline to top and leader on long end and you have a powerful halibut attractor in front of your bait or lure.
